ME:
Hello, everyone! I hope you are all doing well.
I have lost 51 pounds so far. I am so proud of myself! It is so exciting, getting smaller. I have also lowered my cholesterol. The numbers are all good now. I feel a lot better, and have more nergy.
At SparkPeople I can track my nutrition, exercise and calories. I can also read the many, many articles on the site. I have a journal and a SparkPage there as well. Go to http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage.asp?id=THEHSMOMOF2 to see the SparkPage.
I am making a weightloss scrapbook to chronicle my journey to a smaller me.
WORK:
I am still providing childcare, and have openings. I am also starting a book review and writing business.

SKYE
Skye has moved to Fort Kent, and she and her fiance are looking at apartments. He is a CNA, currently working two jobs, and she is looking for employment.
ZOWIE
Zowie truly has enjoyed her experiences with the Upward Bound program, and is looking forward to next summer's program. They will be helping her get into college, and will be working with her over the next couple of years. She may be going to college in Mass. after she graduates. She is considering going into the field of child psychology.
My Studies:
The things that I would like to learn are: herbs and how to preserve them, sewing, candle making, soap making, homesteading, the old west, Jack the Ripper. . . I am a life-long learner. I am currently into trying new recipes. I am bored with making the same old recipes all the time.
I am a proud member of
Our Cats:
FAE (Short for Faeri)
Came to us frightened, flea ridden and with conjunctivitis in both eyes. I nursed her back to health, bathed her often with Dawn and combed her daily to rid her of the fleas, and loved her much. She is now the most loving kitty!
SPRITE
Small, chubby cheeks and cute as can be!
PIXIE
My (and Rowan's) new kitty is Pretty Pixie. We got her from our friend Katie. She loves to play! She also likes to sleep curled up to my belly. She has taken Rowans place in doing this.
ROWAN
Rowan loves his Pixie very much, and takes very good care of her.
TIGERR
Zowie’s cat is not happy about the snow. He does not go out during the winter months because he does not like the snow on his paws.
